FIDM and me

It is quite interesting to take some time and reflect back on what brought us to where we are today ~ and with that fun thought in mind, I'm delighted to share that I was invited to write a little about my experience attending and studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, or better known as FIDM, and the impact it had on my path to a career in illustration and design.  It's just up now on their Blog, if you'd like to take a peek.  =) and thank you for taking a peek!

Sometimes we start out picturing ourselves doing this or that ~ but funny how the experiences, small or big, that come into play in our lives and paths can help point us in a slightly different direction, and off we go.

Take it from me ~ don't E.V.E.R. let yourself wallow in discouragement or frustration with yourself, thinking you've not achieved all that you had hoped to, or thought you should have, blah blah blah.

There are possiblities just waiting for you to find them.  So, better to be a Possibilitarian because sometimes it could be unpleasant times that turn your head to another idea or another area you hadn't even considered!

Hope your summer is going well and that you are finding yourself passionate about what you create!

Cheers,
Priscilla

I just graduated from FIDM, and was going through my alumni mail and saw your blurb. I LOVE your work! It's beautiful!
