sketching from thoughts i remember from childhood came through in this drawing ~ pea coats were beautiful and warm and so comfortable. i loved the rows of buttons ~ my favorite part of the coat. a pair of black shoes i wanted and asked for, but never received. a lesson in not getting all you want in life. glasses at a very young age. being quiet can be very restful. long hair took a long time to dry after being washed. it was fun to be with friends, and to be alone too.
