This is a view from our room at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, which is adjacent to Grand Central Station. Sirens, and honking horns could be heard on an almost hourly basis 24/7- which we considered a novelty, very interesting and actually fun!
(Is it apparent that we are not New York natives?)
When, at first hearing the many sirens and various sounds of ruckus going on down below, I did ask, "What is this, Grand Central Station!!?" and then realized,
"Yes. This IS Grand Central Station!" I made myself chuckle, actually. =0)
